The bi-directional 12G‑SDI connections can be used for quad link 8K, single or dual link 4K, Ultra HD, HD and even SD. You can even capture and playback simultaneously!

I am using this with VMIX and am very happy with it. You can configure it to use the 4 connectors as inputs or outputs. I currently use 3 inputs and 1 output in my configuration. The SDI captures very well and provides a nice, high quality signal.
